FAQs
Who can join?
Anyone interested in pursuing a career in law or public policy and looking for a supportive, diverse, family-like community! Kappa Omega Alpha welcomes all students to rush, regardless of their grades, major or prior experience.
Why should I join?
Our current members come from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences beyond the scope of other pre-law professional organizations. Being a paid member of our fraternity will significantly help you prepare for future career opportunities, including LSAT preparation and networking with distinguished alumni across public and private sectors such as HBO, Deloitte, PWC, the Washington State Legislature, and other nontraditional pathways.
Does KOA require quarterly dues?
All members must pay dues during each rush cycle (fall and spring quarters). Dues are used to fund programming during the academic year, as well as social events, including the annual national conference in Washington, D.C or advocacy days in Olympia, Washington. We also offer payment plans and financial scholarships in the near future.
